About Neil Foster

Neil Foster is a highly qualified and experienced hypnotherapist who was originally trained by the prestigious Brookhouse Group founded by Dr Shaun Brookhouse. Neil is the Liverpool-based representative of the group.

    The National Council for Hypnotherapy represents over 1,000 practitioners and 500 trainees within the United Kingdom and are committed to ensuring the highest possible professional standards amongst their members. There is an agreed Code of Conduct, an established Complaints and Disciplinary Procedure and all members are obliged to maintain comprehensive Public Liability and Professional Indemnity Insurances.

  • National Guild of Hypnotists (NGH)

    The NGH is the largest and oldest hypnotherapy membership organization in the world. All its members are governed by a strict code of ethics.

    Neil Foster is a Board Certified Hypnotherapist with the National Guild of Hypnotists.

  • National Council of Psychotherapists (NCP)

    The NCP is one of the longest established societies of its type in the United Kingdom, being formed in 1971 following the 'Foster Report' on the statutory registration of psychotherapists.

    The NCP is a national association of therapists, mainly in private practice, to whom the public may confidently refer. Most schools of psychological thought are represented and a wide variety of therapeutic approaches are offered.

  • Registered Trauma Specialist (RTS)

    The Register of Trauma Specialists (RTS) exists to promote the services of trauma support workers and therapists with a special interest in assisting with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and trauma related conditions and syndromes.

    It is the aim of UKCHO to promote the professional regulation of hypnotherapy within the United Kingdom, to ensure that Hypnotherapists are safe and competent to practice, and that they adhere to national standards of ethics and training.

    The NHS Directory of Complementary and Alternative Practitioners is compiled and managed for use by NHS healthcare professionals and the general public by the NHS Trust Association, the leading professional association for primary care in the UK.

Membership of these organisations commits Neil to abide by their codes of ethics including strict client confidentiality and to undertake regular professional development, including training to develop his skills.

The Brookhouse Group

Transformation Hypnotherapy and NLP has been appointed the practitioner for Liverpool, Wirral and surrounding areas on behalf of the Brookhouse Group. A national network of hypnotherapists all of whom have been appointed by Dr Shaun Brookhouse. Brookhouse Hypnotherapy was founded in 1989 and has been providing therapeutic services since that time. In 2003, it was decided to make the practice a National Practice with associate practitioners who have either trained with or whose training is known by the Founder of Brookhouse Hypnotherapy, Dr Shaun Brookhouse.
